A Mission pays only when your participation reaches the verified status. If your reward is missing, check the participation status first.
Each Mission's reward is fixed at creation: the campaign's Credit cost divided by the required engagement count. The amount is reconstructed from the Mission's stored Credit snapshot, so a later price change never alters the reward for an existing Mission.
How verification decides payment. Automatic verification through the companion path returns verified or already_verified and grants the Mission reward exactly once through the ledger. If the evidence cannot be verified automatically, the submission enters manual review with the submitted status: the owner then confirms it, which moves it to verified and grants the reward, or reports it, which moves it to rejected with no reward. Rejected and expired participations pay nothing.
Common errors and what they mean. already_verified means the participation is already paid and no duplicate reward is possible. mission_claim_expired means the 30-minute claim window closed before you submitted. mission_not_verifiable means the participation is not in the claimed or submitted state. invalid_evidence means the submitted evidence was malformed. Claim errors include not_eligible (profile, availability or onboarding incomplete), campaign_unavailable, own_campaign, own_company_campaign, campaign_declined, campaign_full and already_claimed.
On the Mission details page, the verification record shows the decision and reason. A companion_auto reason means the participation was verified automatically. If your participation shows verified but no reward appeared, or the status is stuck, contact the Mission owner through the owner contact card.
